A kitchen sink drama* in one act

Scene: the kitchen. Dieter is beginning dinner preparations.

Of course, if there's someone in this room, Jada is never far away.

Dieter approaches the fridge.

Jada: "Yes! Time for food."

But Dieter goes back to his mixing bowl.

Jada: "What? This isn't part of the script."

Jada: (sighing) "Amateurs! I hate it when they improvise ..."

End scene.

*Okay, not really if you go by the definition here.

Heehee, looks very familiar to me ... our little furry girl also sulks every time someone opens the fridge and doesn't give her anything out of it.
And of course she always sulks in the middle of the kitchen, so the maximum amount of people will fall over her! Especially the people with the foodstuffs in their hands. With luck, she might get us to spill some of that milk ...

Both of us have nearly tripped over her on occasion because she'll park herself serenely behind us while we're at the stove, opening the fridge, rummaging in cabinets ... I guess the (potential) benefits outweigh the risks in her mind!

ROFL! From the post and comments. This weekend I almost fell over kittehs twice... and I'm getting quite adept at anticipating their moves in the kitchen.

It doesn't matter if they've been fed two minutes ago - as soon as I cross the threshold, a chorus of "Feed me!" begins!
