So Mimi's reaction to our feather toy was less enthusiastic than Etta's.
But when we brought out the Spider, she sprang into action ...
Her favorite angle of attack appears to be straight up.
Welcome, new torties

The truth and nothing but the truth about our adorable, adoptable foster cats

oh wow, she is pretty rotund. or is that all fluff? ;)
It's almost all fluff -- when I first saw the girls at the SHS, I thought Mimi was going to be the heavier one. As it turns out, Etta weighs four pounds more! Both need to trim down, but Mimi has only a little to lose (not more than any of our previous fosters).
Both are lovely. I know it's not healthy, but there's something about an overweight kitty that makes me go all googly :)
You do great work with them!
Ha! Spidey rules! Yet another foster enamored with the classic. I know you and Dieter will exercise those extra ounces off!
I have a feeling that even once these girls are down to healthier weights, they'll still be roly-poly in personality, Marlene :)
As for the Spider, it really does have universal appeal, Lisa! It's great fun learning how each kitty prefers to play with it -- it's never the same.
