Cheek to cheek
Missy's latest naptime habits include snuggling into the crook of my knees when I'm curled up on the couch with my work. And it turns out her favorite position is consistently butt to butt! Mutual seat warming? Hey, I'm down with that.
It doesn't take long for Missy to get comfortable:
AHAHAHAHA, by the title, i was expecting faces. i should have known better!
riley especially loves curling up into the backs of my knees if i'm facing away from him. and if i'm facing him, he's in my stomach, and nephthys is in my knees, and dash is along my upper back. it's an animal zipper. and if i'm on my back, riley is either along my side or BETWEEN my legs, and phoebe's ON MY CHEST. i should draw these out...
i would love to know WHY i always get the ass end though. very rarely will riley face up towards me - it's always head down, ass up. so i guess either way, we're still cheek to cheek. i'd just prefer his other cheek sometimes. especially when he's feeling gassy.
I want pictures, Angie! Though I'm not sure how you'd be able to take photos without someone else's help :). I had to do some creative things with the camera (like holding it over my head and hoping it was aimed in the right place).
The kitties here are available for adoption through the Seattle Humane Society. They get lots of love and attention in our home while patiently waiting for the right parent(s) to come along. We work very hard to connect the kitties with families of their own, so if you're interested in any of our fosters, please send us an e-mail. We'll be happy to help you through the adoption process with the SHS.
Our current feature foster
There are no fosters in our home at this time, but there are many kitties in need of families at the Seattle Humane Society! Please check out the profiles of potential adoptees here.
The adoption process
In order to adopt one of our kitties, you must complete an adoption application and submit it to the Seattle Humane Society. More information on SHS adoption policies and fees is available on the SHS website.
To speak with someone at the SHS about adoptions, please call (425) 649-7563.
I can't adopt; how else can I help?
Nothing helps more than spreading the word! Subscribe to or follow this blog and send our link on to other people you know. Even if they're not looking for a feline friend, they may know someone who is. And if anything, you get to share the happiness of adorable kitties going about their daily lives chez Kittitas.
